COCKPIT CHAIRS

With not even a thumbnail to guide me, this really was a make-it-up-as-you-go-along affair, guided by a vague image in my head and a sense of what looks ok and what looks wrong, I started slicing up the Foamex.

Basic shapes come together very quickly with Foamex - a wonder substance. You can see my pencil scribbles where I intended to do something
a recessed back was an idea This idea of a recessed back was superceeded with an idea to stick bits on instead. If I find a really nice bit, I think "I gotta use that!"
Headrests I have to look at next, if you look right, you can see what I did. Happy with those.
although not really seen, I make some linings for the chairs from EMA tube. presumably individually inflatable sections to each pilots own specs. Recessed arm rests work I think
Something is still missing IMHO (eyes right) You can see the difference those discs make
First coat of paint, the plastic primer similar dressing, but handed.
