COM ARRAY

Plenty of progress shots once again, so you can see the creative process, when there are no drawings involved to follow.

A page of story boards explained the shot.

again, I dont have to adhere to a design as such, just make something cool for the money.

These are the pieces I originally intended to use. I used most of them, exept I didnt go the circular route, so the dish and framework were left behind
At work on the array....or pretending to be. Always wanting to do something a bit different looking (however impractical) I opted for an oblong array
A temporary tape-up to check. a good solid base so it can stand up by itself
Close up of the back, with connectors in place for wiring plans pretend access panels
taking shape methinks extra piecs for the array. Something I had in my mind to do from the outset.
you can see the layering of perspex on MDF (easier to stick styrene onto perspex than MDF - as you all know) Extra pieces in place and primed white.
